About The Skye

After several years working on restoring the building, The Skye opened in 2005, offering the people of Bennettsville and the surrounding area an upscale facility to host events of all sorts.  We named the building after The Skye Hotel, which occupied the same location, before being destroyed by fire in 1908 after less than half a decade in business.  The main ballroom is called The Dunvegan Room, after the famous castle on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.  The other space is the Glenmore Room, which features a custom-build oak bar.
